On Your Mark, Get Set, Go Register for PurpleStrideTokyo 2024@ShibaPark!
We're excited to announce the return of PurpleStride Tokyo, co-hosted with Tokai University School of Medicine, Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery. This inspiring walk & run event brings together pancreatic cancer patients, their families, the bereaved, medical professionals, corporations, and the general public. We invite you to enjoy a day of community, support, and hope amidst the early signs of spring 🌸 in Shiba Park. With an early sakura bloom 🌸predicted, this year's event promises an exceptional experience of spring splendor🌸.
Following a hiatus due to COVID-19, PurpleStride Tokyo is back, aligning with the cherry blossom viewing season 🌸at Shiba Park. Originating in the U.S. at a time when the 5-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer was just 4%, this community event was born from a desire to eradicate the disease, bring hope to patients and their families, and shine a light on pancreatic cancer.

> SURVIVORS, FAMILIES, FRIENDS, MEDICAL STAFF, RESEARCHERS... ALL WELCOME
As the main characters of this event, survivors are our special guests. We encourage survivors and their families to enjoy the beauty of Shiba Park in spring. From the first PurpleStrideTokyo, the number of survivors joining us has grown each year, creating a vibrant community of support and hope.
PurpleStride Tokyo has become a key event for the pancreatic cancer community, bringing together patients, families, friends, the bereaved, medical professionals, and corporations for a day of solidarity. Whether you're directly affected by the disease or just want to show your support, we invite you to join us in transforming pancreatic cancer from a "disease of despair" into one of hope and community strength. Wear purple, walk, run, laugh, enjoy, eat, sing, and share stories at Shiba Park as we vow to end pancreatic cancer together.
We look forward to seeing you there for a day of hope, support, and purple pride at PurpleStride Tokyo 2024 @ Shiba Park!
THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!
