2019年4月6日、パンキャンジャパン広島支部：追悼と希望を創るイベント「パープルライト in 広島2019」

PurpleLight Event in Hiroshima (Miyajima Island, UNESCO World Heritage)

すい臓がんのご遺族と、今病気と闘う方のためのイベント「パープルライト」は、ご遺族の強い要望により、パンキャン アメリカ本部で始まりました。愛する故人を悼み、家族屋大切な方を旅立たせた人々で思いを寄せあうイベントとして、全米すい臓がんコミュニティーでの大変支持されているイベントです。ご遺族だけでなく、今病気と闘う方々にも大きな力と希望を与える催事として、すい臓がん関係者に大きな力を与えています。

PurpleLight is a gathering of survivors, family and friends who have felt the impact of pancreatic cancer. During the PurpleLight event, there will be a ceremony that includes a reading of names, honoring survivors and remembering those we've lost to pancreatic cancer.

PurpleLight is a free event and open to the public. Whether you have lost a loved one to this disease, are a pancreatic cancer survivor, family member, friend or member of the community, we invite you to join us!

Miyajima is UNESCO World Heritage site and is one of the top three scenic spots in Japan. It is an island where people and Gods live together. http://visit-miyajima-japan.com/en/

日本では、2015年に静岡で初めて開催され、今回4年ぶりに、広島で開催されることになりました。心やすらぐ音楽が流れる中、紫のライトを灯し、愛する人を偲ぶイベントです。ゲストには、患者さん、ご家族と同じく すい臓がんと闘う 広島の膵臓がんの専門医も参加されます。会場は、名勝名高い 宮島 大聖院で、本イベントの趣旨に賛同くださった大聖院から特別の許可を得ての開催となりました。イベント責任者は、パンキャン広島支部 中川圭支部長です。
大切な方との時間を振り返りたい方、病気と闘う ご自身の「今」を感じたいと思われる方、ぜひご参加ください。
