Announcement: PanCAN Japan Receives the 77th Health and Culture Award (Group Category)
We are honored to announce that PanCAN Japan has been awarded the Group Prize in the 77th Health and Culture Award, a prestigious recognition presented under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan.
Since its founding in 2006, PanCAN Japan has been dedicated to improving the lives of pancreatic cancer patients and their families through advocacy, education, early detection initiatives, research support, and policy engagement. Receiving this national honor in our 20th anniversary year is a deeply meaningful milestone for our organization and all those who have supported our mission.
This award affirms the growing societal recognition of pancreatic cancer as a critical health issue and highlights the importance of patient-centered care and collaborative action. We are especially moved by the messages from medical professionals who have expressed pride in working within the pancreatic cancer field, now publicly acknowledged by this national commendation.
PanCAN Japan remains committed to empowering patients, supporting medical professionals, and advancing research and public awareness. We will continue to work hand-in-hand with healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, and the broader community to bring hope and progress to those affected by pancreatic cancer.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have walked this journey with us.
